When the temperature climbs, the first thing most of us notice is what we're wearing underneath. Straps that dig, fabric that clings, wires that press in by mid-afternoon. The good news: a few simple choices make a big difference to how comfortable you feel from breakfast to the boardroom to the evening run.
1. Look for a cotton lining
Synthetic lace and microfibre look beautiful and stretch nicely, but on their own they don't absorb much. A 100% cotton lining is the part that sits closest to your skin, and cotton is naturally breathable and absorbs sweat, so you feel fresher for longer. It's why every Peachez piece has one, from our lace thongs to our wire-free bralettes.
2. Go wire-free
Underwires trap heat and press in exactly where you feel it most on a warm day. A wire-free bralette gives you a natural, comfortable shape without anything digging in. If you like a little more coverage, choose a style with light padding; if you want the lightest feel, go for an unpadded cami bralette with wide straps.
3. Choose seamless for fitted outfits
Linen trousers, a fitted dress, gym leggings: seamless underwear sits flat with no visible lines and feels almost weightless. Our Peachez BARE range is made in ultralight eco microfibre for exactly this.
4. Let the fabric breathe
Mesh panels, open lace and lighter fabrics all help air move. Heavier, non-stretch fabrics can feel warm and restrictive, so save them for cooler evenings.
5. Get the fit right
Too tight and you'll feel every seam; too loose and things shift around. Check the fit note on each product page. We tell you honestly whether a style runs small, large or true to size, so you can pick the right one first time.
6. Rotate and refresh
When it's hot, you'll go through underwear faster. Keeping a good stock means you're never reaching for a tired pair. Our Drawer Refresh multipacks make it easy to stock up and save.
The short version
Cotton-lined, wire-free, seamless where it counts, and the right size. Get those four things right and your underwear stops being something you think about, which is exactly how it should be.
